Ponce Davis Area

Located in an exclusive pocket of splendid homes tucked into a great location, Ponce/Davis Estates combines the foliage of Coconut Grove with the acreage of Pinecrest, while still in close proximity to the shops, restaurants and entertainment of South Miami, as well as the schools and amenities of Pinecrest.

The effort began one summer a decade ago when residents of Little Gables started to collect signatures in their quest to be annexed by Coral Gables. Ten years later, the small enclave – bordered on all sides by the Gables and Miami – is still part of unincorporated Miami-Dade County. And many of the people who live there still have their hearts set on being citizens of the City Beautiful. But there are also fears. Fears that some homes would not conform with the strict Gables zoning code.

Located between the cities of Coral Gables and South Miami and bordered by Sunset Drive, Kendall Drive, Old Cutler Road, and Red Road, the Ponce Davis area is dotted with private acred estates as well as smaller intimate homes. This area is one of the most coveted and fastest growing non-waterfront neighborhoods in Miami.

Many homes are located on large lots and there is has much new construction of gorgeous Mediterranean Revival mansions. The tree lined streets are quite yet the community I minutes from the shops and restaurants of Sunset Place, Merrick Village and Coconut Grove.
